Edinburgh Trip! #1

I'm so excited to be back! I hope everyone has had a lovely week, I sure have up in the lovely city of Edinburgh with my boyfriend. We went to flat hunt for him for his last year at uni come September, that didn't take too long luckily so we had lots of free time to do what we liked.

We stayed in a flat which was renting a room out, this so happened to be with a Korean lady who was unbelievably kind and welcoming, I have never met anybody so warming as her, I miss her already!

I have chosen a couple of pictures from my trip to show you all, I took quite a few so I picked out five of my favourites.
This was the view from the kitchen in the flat, it was beautiful.
The Castle in all it's glory, it is amazing and did you know it is built upon an ancient volcano!
Clearly it isn't just London shaping up for the games!

In my last post I mentioned the Fringe Festival, this is the type of thing that is on throughout the festival period which starts officially in August; I would love to attend for the whole duration.

I went to Edinburgh already planning to get a picture of this cafe; it was my main priority! J K Rowling first began writing Harry Potter here at The Elephant House all those years ago. Harry Potter has a HUGE place in my heart, I you Harry!

Whilst wondering around all the shops in New Town and Old Town I came across some lovely quirky shops which sold Jewellery, I purchased a few items....naughty me! I'll do a blog post on those soon and I'll add in the websites too.

So there you have it, a few pictures I took whilst away, I hope you all liked them! Maybe you will visit Edinburgh too!
