No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover.

Today I'm going to do a review of a product that I purchased a few weeks ago when I was in desperate need of a new eye make-up remover, I chose the No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover as I had a No7 voucher which took £5 off the total cost. I think the product cost me £2 or £2.50 once the voucher had been redeemed.

I chose this product mainly because of the voucher however, I do like the No7 range so I thought it would be a decent product, as well as cheap! However, as you can see from the picture, it is rather full and that is because I have used it just twice. I really did not get on with this product in the slightest, it felt rather thick on my eyes once applied and it was so incredibly oily! I wanted to immediately wash it off, blegh!

I shook the bottle up and took a picture so you could all see the two different layers of product.  I knew it was oily when I purchased it but I just did not realise how oily it was going to be. I felt quite disappointed by this product which is why I have re-purchased my trusty Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover as this is much lighter and feels like water once applied; I cannot rate that product more highly.

Overall, I won't be repurchasing this product, instead I have given it my mom who I think likes it so not all is lost.

Has anybody else tried this? If so, what did you think of it?

  1. I hate it when things are too oily, you end up feeling a bit gross haha! The Body Shop one you have looks pretty good, I'll have to check it out xx

    1. You should give The Body Shop one a whirl, they do it in two sizes as far as I'm still aware.

      Thanks for commenting! :) x

    1. I'm not sure if they are giving them away at the moment, I had loads hanging around in my purse so I was using some olds ones up when I bought this.

I generally do like No7 but hey, you can't like everything :) x

  3. I've not tried this but I was really put off by the colour of it, I don't trust products that are that unnaturally coloured! x

    1. I do cleanse afterwards too but I just really do not like the feeling of this, maybe it is because I was so used to my Body Shop one instead, they really couldn't be more different.

Thanks for commenting Angela! :) x

  6. That's a shame :( this definitely isn't the best eye make-up remover, but it does the job for me, and I use it before cleansing so the oiliness doesn't bother me.

    1. Hey Rachel!

Thank you for the follow :) I use their normal/oily skin moisturiser which I quite like but this product just wasn't for me.

So pleased you liked my book review, it was my first one :)
