Sleek Blush: Rose Gold

Ever since I started using blushers I've generally stuck to the same shades of pink, I've never delved much outside of my comfort zone. That was however until I heard about the RoseGold blusher by Sleek from Terri Lowe, thanks Terri! Ever since I swatched this on the back of my hand in Superdrug I can say that I have not looked back, it was as they say, love at first sight!

I picked this up before I went to Edinburgh a few weeks ago, I had been looking for it for ages and had almost given up hope of finding it until that fateful day when there was just one sitting on the shelf, it was meant to be. It cost just £4.49 which is amazing considering how utterly fantastic it is, you all need to go and have a look at this blusher, go, go, go, don't stay any longer, don't read any further...ok, maybe read and look at the images first!

Rose Gold in all its glory! I must add that it has been used here, hence why it isn't looking as 'fresh'! My excuse is that I wanted to take it to Edinburgh and use it; I didn't have time to blog about it beforehand.

How beautiful is this blush, I absolutely adore it. I love the tones of pink that come out in this, of which I also think there are peachy shades within this which mix in just beautifully with the golden shimmer. I've read by quite a number of bloggers that this is apparently a dupe for NARS 'Orgasm', however, seeing as I've never had that particular blush I cannot comment...I'll just pass on the info.

I swatched this quite heavily on the back of my hand so I could show you how buildable it is, I can definitely say however that I never wear it this bright! I find you really don't need much to create a lovely warm glow on your cheeks, it looks beautiful on.

This is my favourite blush to date.

After having being using this for a couple of weeks now I really would like to try more of the Sleek blushers, with Pomegranate being the one I'm eyeing up next.

  6. Wow, I might give this a try. I find it so hard to get a blusher that doesn't look ridiculous or too pale! I've been using the benifit but time for change I think. Great tip!
