Balance Me Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm

A little while ago I was kindly offered the opportunity to try some balance Me products, I felt really lucky to be asked as I've been so intrigued by this brand in the past.

balance Me is a brand with a pretty nice philosophical out look if you ask me, with that being 'beauty works naturally'. Their product ethos is based upon using natural ingredients whilst keeping all the nasty ingredients away, if you ask me this is just perfect as I'm always looking for more natural products to incorporate into my bathroom.
balance Me. Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm* rrp £20

The daily essentials cleanse and smooth face balm is an award winning product by balance Me. It is an everyday cleanser that is made up of 100% natural ingredients with it containing anti-oxidants such as Arctic cloudberry, skin brightening red mandarin and the gentle element of chamomile. Within the balm there are fine pieces of oatmeal which allow you whilst cleansing to have some rather nice exfoliating action all whilst the process is being very gentle on the skin.

The balm is not too thin but neither is it too thick which allows just a small amount to be used for your entire face, I use two pea size amounts and then warm it up in my hands; I do find that this amount is plenty enough. Once I have worked it into my skin I then use the muslin cloth provided to gently wash it away with hot or warm water; the cloth incidentally is really nice quality. The smell of the product is simply beautiful, I really enjoy using it just for the smell alone to be quite honest although the actual cleanser is fantastic and I will tell you why.

I've been struggling with dry patches quite a lot and ever since using this just three times a week I have found that they have improved dramatically. They have not completely disappeared but they have been reduced which has pleased me to no end when it has came to putting on my foundation in the morning. Overall the product has left my skin feeling very soft and smooth and for it being a balm I’ve never felt as if I have a film still upon my face. A little does go a long way with this product so I recommend just using small amounts to get the balance right. My skin is generally not dry however this winter it really did suffer so thanks to balance Me I think I may have found a product that will help me next winter too.

One other major reason why I really like this brand and why I plan on purchasing a few things in the future is that as I already mentioned they aim to keep the nasty ingredients out. I enjoy products with nice packaging that simply state what is not included, it is really reassuring to us at the consumers as I for one do not always understand ingredients and what is good for your skin and not so good.

This product is recommended for dry and sensitive skin although it does state on their website that it will suit all skin types. I thoroughly agree with this as my skin I would say is more combination and I've had no issues with it at all.

Have you tried balance Me?

  12. I've been seeing a lot of this brand lately on the blogosphere!

The balm sounds lovely although my skin doesn't seem to like balms very much (I'm oily/combination) but oils seems to do the trick!
