Barry M Gelly Nail Polish 'Papaya'

I'm very much on the Barry M Gelly Nail Polish bandwagon, I'm fully converted! When these were originally released just before Christmas I picked up two and I have to say I struggled with them quite a lot. I found that they chipped so easily despite using a topcoat, I was incredibly disappointed. However, with the new colours that were released earlier this year I thought I would try one more time and that was that...

I have a new topcoat which appears to be doing the trick therefore, queue a surge of gelly polish buying!  I've picked up quite a few of the shades recently as they're so affordable with the shade Papaya being a new favourite.

This for me is a really nice coral  nail polish, which with one application I found to be pretty opaque. I must admit I'm thoroughly impressed with the application as I have been with all of them so far. I'm using the Seche Vite topcoat which is working wonders for me at the moment, I'm very happy that I decided to pick it up.

I really do like this nail polish, I can see it being a frequent visitor to my nails throughout the warmer months this year, fingers crossed for sun everyone!

These cost £3.99 and can be picked up from Boots and Superdrug.

    1. Thank you Jess, I know what you mean about shades not suiting skin tone, I always feel weird wearing red on my nails.

Seche Vite is great, however I would like to try the Sally Hansen Top Coat too xx

  6. It's a good thing that you found a new top coat, that polish is super lovely and would be a shame if you didn't use it a lot because of chipping.

  11. I bought the shade lychee and I love it - although I don't like the formula, it is quite streaky and thin x

    1. I think Lychee is a little streaky compared to the rest but not enough to bother me, I use two coats anyway :) xx
