Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil

Whilst having a browse of Boots a few months ago I came across a range of skincare called Super Facialist by Una Brennan, I picked up the Rose Hydrate Moisture Mask on this occasion and promised I would return if the results impressed me. Well, that mask did impress me but the dissertation looming pretty much took over and I forgot pretty much anything existed outside the four walls of my bedroom. Cutting a long story short I was having a break browsing blogs when I saw the Rose Hydrate Miracle Facial Oil reviewed by Caroline over at Sparkly Vodka, from what Caroline had to say I thought it sounded great, therefore I decided I would treat myself to it.

Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil

The Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil retails at £14.99 which in my opinion isn't budget friendly, especially considering you only get 30ml of product. I did pick this up at the time for £10 which did somewhat soften the blow so look out for the offers! However, I have to say this is where my criticisms do end as I have being really enjoying using this product in my evening skincare routine.

I use this as my first initial cleanse after removing my eye make up with a separate eye makeup remover, the reason for using something separate for my eyes is purely because I tend to prefer less oil based products around my eyes. I found that this facial oil broke down my make up wonderfully leaving my skin extremely soft and nourished, helping to reduce any dry patches that I can often get as my skin despite being oily/combination is often quite dehydrated. Once I have finished using the oil which incidentally is a perfect product for a cheeky facial massage I would wipe it away with a warm flannel. After using the facial oil as a pre cleanse I would then use something such as the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to fully remove everything off my face.

I must admit this little facial oil is pretty good! It removes my make up fantastic and my skin feels truly lovely afterwards, a wonderful product to use. I've experienced no break outs with this despite it having a rose perfume to it. Whilst on that note I know some people can find rose scents overpowering but in my opinion this is not too bad at all. Overall a great product that I've now incorporated into my skincare routine, I just wish the bottle was bigger!

I'm really keen to try some more products from the Super Facialist range, if you have any recommendations then definitely drop me a comment below.

    1. I was too, particularly because I have oily skin but I had read so many things saying that even if you have oily skin do not be afraid of using oils in your routine. Therefore I bit the bullet as the saying goes and the rest is now history, I really like it :) xx

  9. It sounds great, but the price is a bit steep for something you need to use frequently!
It sounds like something that wouldn't strip your skin though so perhaps it's worth a one time purchase...xxx

    1. Oh I fully agree Abelia, I'd only buy this again on a good offer to be honest as I can't see it lasting me a huge period of time. I've actually stopped using it so frequently now so I can keep it for longer. xx

  10. This looks absolutely divine! I have a similar looking product in my collection (Origins Clean Energy cleansing oil), and I'm literally addicted to it! The scent isn't my favorite, but the bottle offers 200mL of product. It leaves my skin super soft as well, I couldn't recommend it more! xx

    1. Oh yes I have seen that before, it sounds lovely and you definitely get more than you do with the Una Brennan product. Ii haven't smelt it but to be honest I'm generally quite good with scents, I'm not easily put off if the product is decent; thank you for that :) xx
