Poppy Day Nails

Remembrance Day is a memorial day held across the commonwealth in order to remember those who died fighting in World War 1. On the 11th November, on the 11th hour in 1918 the First World War ended which is why we to this day still remember those who fought for us so that we can have the freedom that we now have in the present day.

I did a tutorial on a similar design last year if you want to have a look as my nails are currently too short to do nail designs on hence me using the nail wheels at the moment, I hope nobody minds too much.

  1. Oh this is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!!

I love nail wheels as I think you can really show off a colour/design on them...it's a lot easier than trying to take a picture of your hand haha!

  2. Such lovely designs! I like nail wheels, and I sure appreciate how easy it is to do nail art on them, and you're right about it being easier to take photos of nail wheel than hand! x

  10. Beautiful! And thanks for the little history behind the poppies. I see British people wearing them every year, but didn't exactly know the reason behind it (I'm sorry). Glad I do know now :)

  12. what a great way to commemorate Remembrance Day. I have bought 4 little poppy pins now, and have managed to lose every single one but it would be very difficult to lose this idea!

    1. Very difficult indeed....unless they were false nails :) I always loose the poppy pins, I tend to just push it through a button hole somewhere if I can.

  13. Pretty pretty! I'm far too clumsy to attempt these. Hope you're well lovely, I've been way out of the loop lately but I'm back now, so much catching up to do!
