LUSH Tisty Tosty

Just before Christmas I went into LUSH and treated myself to a few things. As well as picking up the Christmas Penguin I also finally purchased the Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb. This bath bomb had caught my eye on a number of occasions; therefore I thought it was high time I picked it up. Out of all the products LUSH produce this has to be one of the prettiest for me, it is so feminine with the added touch of real rose buds finishing off the product beautifully.

I personally don't think that this is overpowering in anyway, if you're not a fan of rose I still recommend having a look at this in your local store as you may be pleasantly surprised. I've read that this can be a little bland when used in the bath as it doesn't create many bubbles or change the water colour in anyway, yet to me this isn't something that I'm too fussed about. I think this bath bomb has a slightly more 'mature' feeling towards it compared to the more crazy coloured ones which you can pick up. I'm all for crazy colours though, Fizzbanger and Lord of Misrule are most certainly on my wish list.

At £3.25 it's quite pricey, this does make me want to break it up to get more than one bath out of it, however unlike the Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar this is a bath bomb. Do you think this matters as such?

EDIT: Having now used this bath bomb here are my thoughts. As pretty as it looks I think this is something to maybe skip out on, unless you're really keen to try it. It is true that no bubbles are produced; it fizzes into nothing extremely quick and leaves behind a few sorry rose buds floating around. I didn't find it overly moisturising to be honest so again this is something I have to consider when I'm spending £3.25. This did however smell really nice and like I had said before it wasn't over powering in the slightest. Would I re-buy? Sadly not.

LUSH is a cruelty free brand.

  5. I love the LUSH bath bombs, even though there is something so dissatisfying about no bubbles haha. I do think cost per use isn't too good for LUSH bath bombs, I've recently gone easy on purchasing them in the shop you think ooh it's only £3 but the £3 soon add up, that in mind I still want too try this haha.. X

  6. UGH this looks SO PRETTY.

  7. I agree with you this has to be the prettiest Lush bath bomb! I've not tried this one but from the sounds of it, the scent and oils seem really appealing. I've tried both Fizzbanger and Lord of Misrule and I prefer the latter - I found it to be more fragrant, I also liked the actual ingredients more. I also have broken half of the Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar and the bubbles were so fun to play around with!

  11. This is such a gorgeous bath bomb. I definitely think these are pricey but I'd be interested in trying one anyway when I do have a bath tub to use.

  15. I know! I had to double check the name at first as I read it as something else entirely....! It's not full on rose in my opinion although I appreciate everyone is different. I really liked the smell however the bath bomb experience was a dull affair to say the least xx

  16. It is so pretty but I would check some more reviews on it before you buy it. I wasn't too impressed with this at all xx

  17. If you like your bubbles such as those the Christmas Penguin provides then skip this completely. I found it to be terribly disappointing in the end xx

  18. I will check that out asap! This is very pretty indeed but in my opinion that's the best bit about it as the bath it provides is rather bleak xx

  21. Totally dissatisfying!! I didn't think it would bother me much but it did. You're right the money certainly does add up xx

  24. It is so pretty Catherine but to be honest having used it tonight I was left rather disappointed with it. I didn't find it very moisturising, in fact the whole experience of it left me rather deflated. I wouldn't re-buy it xx

  25. Thank you! I wanted to make these super super nice as the product is beautiful. It's not over powering at all but I think it made a poor bath bomb xx

  26. That's a pity :( I used rose bath salts from a seller on Etsy which sound kind of what this should have been more like! It made the water cloudy, smelled really good and had rose buds floating in the water. Unfortunately she seems to have closed her shop but I sent a message asking if she is still making them cos I'd love to buy some more... xx

  27. They sound much better Louise! :)
Hopefully she still makes them so you can pick up some more, I hate it when people stop selling things I like xx

  30. Apparently I am one of the few who actually like this bath bomb. I LOVE it! It is the smell that does it for me. It made me feel completely relaxed and re-energized. No, it doesn't make bubbles or anything, but I would still buy this again. I like the idea that I can just pick up the rosebuds, rather than having to clean my whole tub after using it. Tisty Tosty is definitely not as messy as some other LUSH bath bombs, which is awesome. This one will stay one of my faves!
