Eyeko Lash Curlers with Instyle

This is just a quick post for today as I thought I'd give you all a little heads up of quite a good freebie hitting your local newsstand this month. At the moment with the May issue of Instyle there is a free pair of the Eyeko Eye Lash Curlers that are worth £12. I picked mine up from WHSmiths this afternoon where it cost £3.90 which is quite expensive for a magazine full of quite a few adverts but the free gift is pretty good. I'm trying not to fall into the trap of buying magazines just for the free gift this year but I think this is quite a good one, particularly since I've being meaning to buy a new pair of eye lash curlers for such a long time.

Also included in the magazine is a voucher to pick up a free 50ml L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate as well as 20% off orders on the Eyeko website.

**The winner of the Pandora competition that was up on blog a few days ago is Rachel from Beauty Queen UK, congratulations!!

  1. £3.990 for a magazine? But that is a bargain with the eyelash curlers...despite the fact i'd struggle to keep up almost £4 a month just on one mag! Xx

  2. I think that is a great free bee worth the splurge on the mag (even if it is just for the gift)

  3. I know you said you don't want to subscribe to magazines just for the freebies... but there is an offer on the April edition of Company magazine where if you subscribe to the mag for 3 months, not only is it just £3, but you get a Baylis and Harding weekend bag worth £40!
Absolutely amazing offer, definitely worth it :D

  6. Thank you for calling this to my attention, I think £3.90 is fair enough if it comes with a £12 freebie too! Might be getting this :)

  12. This sounds like a pretty good freebie! I never, ever use lash curlers though so I don't think I'll be picking this one up :) I agree £3.90 is pricey for a magazine, although as others have said it's not so bad if you get a decent freebie that you'll get some use out of :)

  13. Hey!

I brought this today too... But I opened it up and I didn't get any spare silicone pads with my eyelash curler, was wondering did you get any with yours?

    1. Hey no I didn't, I meant to add that into my post actually. I think you can email Eyeko and inform them though, I'm planning on doing that x

  14. I used to read magazines like Glamour and Company regularly but only buy them now if they have good freebie's, I usually do think twice though if it's one of the more expensive magazines. Nearly £4 for a magazine that is pretty much just adverts and not much else is a lot of money so I only buy one for the freebie if it is something I actually really want x

    1. I'm the same Becky, I think magazines have become more expensive and I know that there has to be a profit but gosh when I flick through and it is advert after advert it does annoy me. The free gifts are great though xx
