April Beauty Favourites

April Beauty Favourites
When I reflect back on April I have to say that in all honesty I didn't really stray away from what I knew this time around. Sticking to old favourites I found myself really enjoying some well-loved products which made an upcoming post all about repurchases pretty easy when I sit down and think about it. Having said that there was a couple of new products that I managed to try out which all left me feeling pretty impressed.

It is no secret that I'm a huge fan of Barry M Nail Polishes therefore it isn't that surprising to see one popping up this month. Blue Grape from Barry M is a shade from the Gelly line which happens to be one of my favourite nail polish releases to date; it seriously does not disappoint. It's a vivid bright blue with a gorgeous finish which I personally get on quite well with although it does have a very odd smell about it.

Next up I have being using the Garnier Oil Beauty Moisturising Lotion over the last two weeks which is quite unusual for me as those of you who read my blog regularly will know that I'm quite faithful to my body butters. This was a bit of a spur of the moment purchase by my mom so of course I had to try it out when I saw it sitting in the bathroom cupboard a few days later. This body lotion after using it from a nice long soak in the bath left my legs feeling so soft and moisturised with the stand out factor for me being that it sunk into my skin really quite quickly allowing me to get dressed rather than having to sit around waiting for it to sink into my skin.

The last item I'm featuring is a product that I was incredibly lucky enough to win from a giveaway held by the gorgeous Brittany over at Life Set Sail. If you haven't yet stumbled across her blog then I highly recommend that you check it out as she's such a lovely person who runs such a fantastic blog based in Canada. The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector had been a product that I wanted to try for a long time so I'm sure you can imagine just how excited I was to be able to try one. Candy Shimmer was the shade I chose of which I couldn't be happier with, it's such a classic elegant shade that works beautifully for day time.
