Bee Good 2-In-1 Cream Cleanser

Bee Good 2-In-1 Cream Cleanser Bee Good 2-In-1 Cream Cleanser Bee Good 2-In-1 Cream Cleanser

Being quite the environmental enthusiast and having a huge passion for wildlife I found myself extremely excited to try a new product from a skincare brand that shares the same enthusiasm as me. The brand Bee Good born back in 2008 produce a selection of natural skincare products that range from cleansers, toners and lip balms all of which contain British beeswax, propolis and honey. With ethically sourced ingredients from British Beekeepers and plant oils from British growers this truly is a British brand through and through. As one would expect with this type of brand there is no animal testing involved; as well as this there are no parabens, silicones or synthetic colours.

Back in April I was kindly sent the Bee Good 2-in-1 Honey and Propolis Cream Cleanser* to try out. At this point I wouldn't generally go into detail about how an item is sent to me however the Bee Good team had put so much thought and effort into it that I just had to mention it. Arriving so beautifully packaged along with some rather yummy biscuits this was such a wonderful and unique parcel to open after work.

Ever since I received the cleanser I have being using it of an evening to remove my make up. With the product being in a tube this of course makes it easier to use as opposed to a tub, it's also a lot more hygienic in comparison. The scent of the cleanser is actually really nice; it's a nice clean scent with just a hint of sweetness to it which isn't too strong at all. In terms of consistency it's a little thicker than I had originally expected so I do tend to use a little more as it doesn't seem to spread as far as some other cream cleansers that I have used in the past.

Due to this thicker consistency I was worried that it could just be a little too rich for my oily/combination skin type however I've had no issues with it at all. The cleanser has worked really well on my skin type and of course removes make up with ease each time I use it. Overall it's a pretty good product if you ask me and is certainly worth trying out, especially if you are branching out into more natural skincare.

At the beginning of this post I mentioned my love for wildlife; in particular I do have quite an interest in bees. I think that this is down to the fact that they can be a bit misunderstood by the public, people tend to be a bit scared of them when in truth there is a very small chance that they would ever hurt you. They're also quite cute too so I knew that for this post in particular I'd have to try and take a few pictures of some in my garden. It's quite hard with the lens I have on my camera to get a really good shot however the one above seems ok.

A percentage of all profits from Bee Good products are donated to the British Beekeeping Association and the UK Bee Farmers Association which is a fantastic cause. These little guys do such an important job within our ecosystem, they help to keep the food on our plates and to keep our gardens and British countryside looking gorgeous.

Bee Good is a cruelty free brand.

  1. I don't normally blog about the "extra" bits that come with a press sample either, but I had to with this - it was a beautiful parcel and they put so much effort in to the packaging and the biscuits! I love this cleanser, I'm still using it now. Cream cleansers are my favourite skincare product! x

  2. I agree, it was so well thought out, it was clear a lot of consideration had been taken; a truly lovely way to introduce somebody to a brand. It's such a lovely cleanser isn't it, I can't quite place what the scent is, all I know is that I really like it :) x

  8. Aww :( My skin is definitely oily/combination but in all honesty there is never that much that upsets my skin, I may have been up to this point just lucky in that area though. I'm using a cleansing balm at the moment too by Ali Mac, it's not that well spoken about but it works really well for my skin type. I have a review on here somewhere on it x

You may feel you have a great product, but it's not until others tell you that you actually know...

This sounds gorgeous, I've read a few reviews recently and I think I'm going to have to give it a try sooner rather than later :) I'm always pretty confident that a product's going to suit my skin if you've liked it, Amy! :)
