An Ode To Una

Una Brennan Super Facialist Skincare
I've a little thing for the Una Brennan Super Facialist skincare brand as you may or may not have noticed from reading my blog over the last year or so. Every now and then this brand will pop up and you'll hear me tell you just how good I think it is therefore I decided to do a post dedicated to the products and indeed the brand entirely.

Una Brennan is a skincare specialist and facialist based in London whereby she has created a range of skincare products that are accessible and more importantly affordable. There are a number of different products which are suitable for various skin types of all ages which tackle various skin concerns that range from dehydration, sensitivity, oily and dry as well as anti-ageing and brightening therefore ultimately there is something for everyone. Exclusive to Boots the brand can be obtained in most cities as well as it also being available online so it's obtainable for most people. In my opinion it's also pretty well priced especially considering 3 for 2's often crop up in store as well as specific brand promotions so I more often than not always wait for those to grab an even better bargain.

For a while now I have being using the Tea Flower Deep Clean Pore Purifying Clay Mask which I think is pretty fantastic for a high street mask. Quite simply I tend to use this once or twice a week depending on how congested my skin looks, paying particular attention to the dreaded t-zone. I find that this mask leaves my skin feeling and looking a lot clearer and brighter than before, it is for me most certainly one of those masks where I can see a visible difference in my skin after use. More frequently I find myself using the Tea Flower Deep Clean Purifying Cleansing Wash on both morning and evening as I find this to be rather refreshing for the morning use but nice and light for the evening after I have used a cream or balm cleanser.

My first re-purchase from the line has been the Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil which first of all smells incredible and second of all feels wonderful on the skin, not to mention it also takes off my make up wonderfully. I was actually very lucky with this re-purchase as it was reduced in my local Boots to just £4, yes you read that correctly. On a sad note though this is because the whole range has been removed from my local store to make way for a different brand therefore I have to go slightly further afield or order online now to shop the brand.

Sticking with the hydrate range I have also found myself picking up the Rose Hydrate Intense Moisture Mask which again smells really nice and proceeds to do a fairly good job of hydrating my skin. Due to my oily/combination skin type I try not to overload my skin with lots of different hydrating products, I know hydration is key but too much can send it a little bit crazy. My general use for this mask tends to crop up once I have used my clay mask because clay masks can tend to be a little drying therefore I like to pop some moisture back into my skin afterwards.  This is a mask which can be washed off after just ten minutes so it isn't an overnight fix, personally I do like it though and have enjoyed using it once again as it had been a little forgotten until recently.

Overall this has to be one of my favourite skincare brands to date; everything so far simply works for me. If you had to get one thing from the brand I would go for the clay mask, it's superb for the price!

Have you tried Superfacialist?
