LUSH Avobath Bath Bomb

LUSH Avobath Bath Bomb
Delving into my ever growing collection of LUSH products I decided to use a bath bomb a few weeks ago as a little treat. Whilst I really enjoy using novelty things such as these I do find that they are a bit expensive as technically you use one per bath so I do tend to save them for extra special treats. I say technically here as I know a lot of people do tend to break these in half or into even more pieces in order to get their money's worth which I completely understand; this is something I'm going to do next time.

At Christmas I received a box full of LUSH goodies, inside was the bath bomb 'Avobath' which as you can see above is a simple mint green bath bomb. At the time when I used this I did put up a little video of this on my instagram if you're interested  to see it in action however between me and you it wasn't really that exciting. Some of the bath bombs I have seen are full of amazing colours however this one simply turned my water green. Whilst the actual event wasn't that spectacular I have to say I did enjoy using this one because it smelt lovely which quickly introduced a really quite fresh and uplifting scent to the room. I also found that once I had got out of the bath my skin felt quite soft and hydrated, this is most likely down to the avocado and olive oil content which has been included to help tackle dry skin.

Overall it was a pleasant experience however I'm still looking for that WOW factor when I use these bath bombs. What do you recommend?

  1. I like Blackberry and Sex Bomb. I just posted about some Lush products I purchased, including Blackberry. I can't wait to use it! I might try Avobath next time as I've never had it before.

  2. I'm not really a huge fan of bath bombs anymore, I've tried this one too and it wasn't anything special! I much prefer their bath melts and bubble bars so you can use a little of each, it's much cheaper for pretty much the same result.

  4. My fave is the Comforter Bubble Bar. I do like bath bombs, but like you, I prefer to save them for special treats. xx

  5. I agree on the expense front I used to…be a full time member at bath bomb anonymous but after a serious reality check I just haven't purchased them again as like you I never really got that 'wow' factor :/ xx

  6. Oh I like the sound of this one! Though I have to say, since discovering Lush's bubble bars, I've decided I like them so much more than the bath bombs because you get lots of fluffy bubbles! xo

  7. I have quite the LUSH stash building, which is silly because I normally only shower!

  9. The only bath bomb I've used in the last couple of years was the limited edition badger one they did a couple of months ago, I can't remember what it was actually called now. Again that one wasn't very impressive colour wise but what I liked about it was the oils really helped to clear up the excessively dry skin I suffer with on my back x

  10. I would love to try a Lush Bath Bomb as they are raved about so much but our bath is so tiny you can't have a nice relaxing bath :( I might try out some of their shower products though, have you ever tried any of those?

  17. I'm exactly the same Megan, the bath bombs are really funky but I think you get more for your money with the bubble bars and indeed more bubbles xx

  23. I do agree on this one! I'm a huge Lush addict and this is one of their more boring bombs in my opinion! I love bright colours and bubbles! However, this does make your skin feel amazing!
