Topshop Make Up

Topshop Make Up
Topshop make up seemed to make the rounds roughly one year ago however I have noticed that it has since dropped off the radar making it a rare occurrence for it to pop back up on my morning bloglovin feed. Whilst I'm a fan of high end make up and adore walking round the likes of Selfridges and Space NK I can't help but find myself drawn to the rather cute and unique packaging of the make up stand in Topshop.

Whilst my Topshop make up collection is rather reserved I do find the nail polish stand to be irresistible. The vast array of shades and reasonable prices and of course a rather good formula to boot only goes to justify my ever growing collection. Looking at the shades I have they tend to vary between the nude and pink spectrum however I'm incredibly keen to add some nice dark autumn shades to my collection this year.

The Lipsticks from Topshop have never really interested me that much and whilst I have decided to keep the shade Macaroon I'm still on a whole uncertain about these. Personally they do feel a little dry on my lips however I know I'm in the minority here and do try to remember that my lips for some reason are dry quite a lot of the time. Lip balm really is a necessity when it comes to these lipsticks for me.

Onto Topshop Blushes I have found a rekindled love for Head Over Heels and have found myself using this particular shade lot over the summer months thus far. To be honest the main reason for this is because it is so easy to use and adds a bit of colour to my otherwise tired looking face at 7am in the morning. Whilst they are not my favourite blushes on a whole they are to date the only cream to powder blush that I have yet tried. Although I'm keen to try more of this type of blush from different brands these have for me so far been a success.

Have you tried Topshop make up recently?

  1. I haven't yet tried their nail polishes, though their shade range is outstanding! I agree about their lipsticks, I have one in Ooh La La that is probably too pale for me, though it settles into lines and is so creamy that it looks a bit streaky. Love Head over Heels though!

  3. I've never tried Topshop makeup because it's pretty expensive in the states. I love the cute and simple packaging though.

  6. All of these products look amazing! I love Top Shop blushes but unfortunately I haven't really had a chance to try much else. The next time I go I really want to pick up the big highlighter compact, though, it looks so amazing.

  7. I have the Glow highlighter, which I quite like, and I'm really keen to try one of their cream blushes and maybe even their lipsticks. Oh and their nail polishes seem quite good, so I think I'll pick up one of them soon!

  8. I still haven't tried any Topshop makeup it's criminal, I think it's because my local Topshop doesn't actually stock makeup range so I'd have to order online. The lipsticks and nail polishes look nice they do a gorgeous red shade (I think it's called Red lippy) that's on my wish list :D xx

  12. I've tried a few things by Topshop and the one I find the best is definitely the nail polish. I think that for a lot of the other things, the packaging is the best bit, but maybe that's just me being negative! The highlighter is beautiful though, and I always consider buying it whenever I'm in there!

  13. I've recently rediscovered my love for Head over Heels too! The corally pink shade and creamy formulation seem to be perfect for summer. I also love Topshop nail polishes too but I am yet to try any of the range outside of the blushes and nail varnishes! :) x

  17. I love Topshop make-up. However, I don't tend to have that much of it. But this post has made me want to trawl the stores now! I think Meadowhall this weekend may be a bit dangerous now!

  25. No I can see what you mean there as I find the lipstick to not be as good as I'd read from so many bloggers in the past. Having said that I'd like to try one more shade just in case it is this particular one. The highlighter is lovely, I have it and for some reason forgot to include it in this photograph x

  26. It's worth having a try I think, it's on par with high street brands in terms of price so it would be nice to try something different x
