No sooner are my summer skirts and sandals tucked away I'm to be found on the hunt for a costume for this year's Halloween party. This year I'm heading off with my friend for a Halloween evening where there's a three course meal, fancy dress and other shenanigans taking place; I'm super excited! Halloween for me has always been rather exciting as it brings back so many memories of the Halloween parties I used to have as a child with my family and neighbours, they were so much fun and often resulted in lots of apple bobbing and treats that would have your dentist weeping silent tears.

This year I'm most likely going to go as a witch, where as you can see I've already being practising! All of the above items can be found at George at ASDA where I picked all of these things up for a grand total of £10. I opted for a witch's hat, make up kit and fake eyelashes as I have quite a few other items that I can wear at home to help finish off the outfit on the night. It's been a long time since I did anything like this whereby I have to say I absolutely loved piling on this green face paint and being much more care free with my make up. The make up kit is actually pretty good for the price as the green paint worked wonderfully and was super pigmented, I do however think it would be worth picking up a white face paint as well so you can create more dimension to your face by highlighting areas.

Out the whole kit I found the only disappointing item to be the lipstick as it was just like a lip balm and provided no colour at all sadly, however for £4 for the whole thing I wasn't too worried. Reaching for an alternative out of my make up collection I rounded the whole thing off with a bold lip, fake lashes, green diamantes and gold glitter.

I have to say this is the most fun I've had on a post for such a long, long time; I truly hope you enjoyed it too.

What do you think? Are you dressing up for Halloween this year?

  8. totally forgot Halloween is coming up. I am not a very exciting person during Halloween, but I do love the candies. I might actually try to dress up this year though. I need some fun in my life.
