Wonderfit Skinny Jeans c/o George (Asda), Short Parka Coat c/o George (Asda, Fleece Lined Ankle Boots c/o George (Asda).
This last week truly felt as though autumn had arrived here in the UK. Several crisp mornings with the sunshine shining and the mist hovering over the fields left me longing for the weekend. I wanted to get out in the fresh air and go for a early morning walk as they are one of my favourite things to do, especially because we have such beautiful scenery on our doorstep.
Just last week I was set a challenge by George at ASDA as part of their #OffDutyDenim campaign, therefore this weekend I took it upon myself to head off into the woods, camera and the obligatory scarf in tow in order to share with you my weekend in denim.
A few years ago now I had a pair of womens jeans from George and they were hands down the best pair that I had ever had. I think we have all been there before when once skin tight jeans suddenly become baggy at the knees and loose their shape, leaving you feeling a little less than flattering. From a positive experience long before I started blogging I was curious to see how several years later the new line of denim from George would hold up. The Wonderfit Skinny Jeans* have once again confirmed to me that jeans from George are not only good value for money but also keep their shape and skinny tight feeling.
Paired up with those snugly Fleece Lined Ankle Boots* which I thought would be handy for the somewhat rocky terrain and a trusty khaki Parka Coat* which is super cosy, I felt as though I was very appropriately dressed for a nice autumn morning walk. There were so many people who clearly had all had the same idea as me as I came across lots of dog walkers and horse riders which added a really lovely atmosphere to the morning; I was even a little cheeky and snapped the pooch above whilst he played with his toy by the lake.
It goes without saying that I'll be heading back up there again soon. It is so peaceful and relaxing which is especially welcome after a long and busy week at work.
How do you spend your weekend?
