These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things

Jewellery Collection
The last time I sat down and shared with you some of my favourite items of jewellery was back in  my Jewellery Collection post in April 2014, therefore almost three years to the day I am sitting down and letting you delve into my jewellery box once again.

These days I rarely wear much jewellery, instead often saving some pieces to wear on special occasions as opposed to wearing them daily. The reason for this tends to be that most of the time, if I am completely honest with you, I forget to put them on. It goes without saying that I nearly always have a watch on my wrist, it is the one item which I feel lost without. However, if I take my earrings out and necklace off then I can often find myself going days without remembering to put them back on which is a bit of a shame but also very true.

That being said, I love jewellery and have more recently (since Christmas) got into the habit of wearing earrings a lot more along with my bracelets. For Christmas, I specifically asked for Pandora Earrings and I was lucky enough to receive two pairs from my Dad. They're both of a floral design, one which is relatively plain and the other which are a little more sparkly. I adore both designs, although I cannot wear them together as they pair up a bit too close, therefore I do need to invest in some simple silver studs to wear as the second pair due to the fact I have my ears pierced twice.

When it comes to necklaces I often find myself wearing the same one over and over again. It was not an expensive piece of jewellery, in fact it was actually a piece that I purchased for myself about five years ago whilst shopping the sales. It is a simple design with a diamante element to it (which most certainly isn't real). To this day I still like wearing it due to the fact that it goes with everything and that it looks pretty but understated at the same time.

Moving onto bracelets I have a double leather strap bracelet from Pandora and a silver traditional charm bracelet from a brand called Chamilia. The latter is a similar brand to Pandora if I am honest, the price point is roughly the same, as are the charm designs and pieces available so it is well worth considering if you have not heard about it. The brand itself is definitely not as well-known as Pandora, however as previously mentioned they are extremely alike. I really like having the two different style options as the simple silver bracelet is nicer to wear on a special occasion, whereas I feel that the leather option is easier to wear more regularly as I feel as though it has more of a casual connotation attached to it.

The most recent addition to my watch collection is the Daniel Wellington Classic Petite*. Since I received this watch it has not left my wrist; it is such a beautiful light weight piece of jewellery that goes with every single item in my wardrobe. Naturally I have a whole post which is dedicated to the Daniel Wellington Classic Petite watch which discusses the watch in finer detail.

Daniel Wellington have also provided me with a code for you to use in order to get 15% off their website, this includes the new launch so before it runs out on the 15th April, make sure you head on over in order to make the most of the deal. Use 'ALITTLEBOAT' to get your discount on your Daniel Wellington purchase.
